CASTLEVANIA:

S T O R Y

The game takes place in 1997, in the city of Veros. Veros has become a thriving Metropolis and is equal in size to New York City. The game stars Eric Belmont. Eric is the grandson of Richter, who is slowly passing away. Dalv Tepes (Dracula) has come to town and has risen to much everyone's misfortune and has become a leader in a crime syndicate. His cover is blown by Eric, who has seen his true form as the vampire known as Vlad Tepes Dracula. Eric goes public with this information, not afraid of being laughed at because of the now famous Belmont battles of the past. When Dracula is exposed, his rage engulfs him and he unleashes his undead army to wreck havoc throughout the city. Eric goes to his dying grandfather for advice, and he gives him this..."You are a Belmont, and as a Belmont you must destroy this evil as I have, Christopher, Simon, Trevor, and Sonia have. You must go to Transylvania quickly and recover the weapons of the Belmont Clan and destroy Dracula..............*"

New! 'Prologue Level' Information!

-RPG type of game, much like SOTN and Simon's Quest, but with much more things added.

-Eric can interact with people, talk to them, etc.

-You can have two weapons at a time, but one is always a whip and the other is always a secondary weapon. You cannot use two whips at once.

-Besides whips, you can get secondary weapons, such as swords, spears, and even 9MMs!

-There are 15+ whips and 20+secondary weapons.

-The sub weapons from the previous games (Dagger, Axe, Stopwatch, Holy Water, Rosary, Aguena, Rebound Gems, and garlic sprinkles) are present, along with new ones, and each have an item crash.

-Sub weapons can gain power with use, and you can store up to 5 of them in your inventory.

-Item crashes are upgraded every 3 times you gain an experience level.

-Not only can you gain levels (via experience points), you can gain whip experience points. When a level of this is gained, you gain a new whipping technique.

-You gain physical abilities (back flip, slide, etc.) with experience points and can enhance them.

-Enemies can sense your presence, interact with each other, and attack and kill each other.

-You can get partners to help you, and can have multiple partners unlike CV3.

-You can learn to throw enemies.

-There are multiple shops and merchants.

-You can sell or trade anything you want at shops.

-Onyxes are very rare items that grant you special things, such as upgrades, life, etc.

-Save features.

-The whip can be swung in a circle and flailed in 8 directions like in CV4 and Dracula X Duo.

-The game is mainly set in the city, but you can go in some buildings, alleyways and sewers. You also make trips to Transylvania on some occasions.

-Dracula's skyscraper is 1/4 of the game. It is 66 floors, and in the tower you must fight all of the bosses from the 3 8-bit titles, and all the forms of Dracula from the same titles(the Drac forms are clones).

-Upon completing the game, if you have a good finishing ranking, many secrets are unlocked.

-I plan this game to be 3 times bigger than SOTN.

-Multiple Endings.
